Forssa all breeds show 29th of June

Today at Forssa all breeds show Ricky won Best of Breed and Group 1st (over 2500 dogs entered)! Both Breed and Group was judged by Tino Pehar! THANK YOU!

This was Ricky's 7th group win for the year. He is currently leading the #1 Dog of the Year competition in Finland with over 100 points! Could not be more happy and proud of this boy. 

Järvenpää all breeds show 24th of May
Warm and sunny Saturay was spent in Järvepää. Ricky did almost hit the jackpot by winning Best of Breed, the Group and finally Best in Show-2! Breed and group was judges by Swedish judge Kurt Nilsson and Best in Show by all breeds judge Annukka Paloheimo from Finland.

Basset Specialty 29th of May

Team Nightdream had a fantastic day at the yearly Basset Specialty, which is a specialty show for 14 different breeds. Petit basset griffon vendeens were judged by Marko Lepasaar from Estonia. I showed Ricky to Best of Breed and his mum Nightdream Issidore Ducasse to best female! Nightdream breeders group won Best of Breed and BIS-4. Progeny group out of Nightdream Issidore Ducasse was BOB progeny and BIS-3.

Ricky ended the day by being Best in Show -3!

Kotka international show 15^th of June

What a nicely organized show on a lovely showground. Ricky won Best of Breed and placed 2^nd in Group under judge Tino Pehar from Croatia.

Shows, shows & more shows!

After our one month show break Ricky is back in business. Our show marathon started during eastern at an international show in Imatra where Ricky Won The Group!

A week after that we were on Saturday at Lahti international dogshow, where Ricky won BOB and placed reserve winner in group. Sunday was spent in Vaasa at an other international dogshow, where Ricky almost hit the jackpot by winning reserve BEST IN SHOW! What a weekend!

A week later on Sunday we headed to Tampere were Ricky continued his Best of Breed win!

Lately there has not been a single weekend off from show. This means that 11th of may we spent at Helsinki INT show. Amazing weather, good company & crazy results was achieved! Ricky won again reserve BEST IN SHOW and Nightdream breeders class was selected among 8 best breeders in the finals!

Our latest trip was last weekend to Joensuu where one INT show and one all breeds show was organized. On Saturday Ricky won BEST IN SHOW-3 at the international show. Breed and group was judges by Mats Jonsson and BIS by Hassi Assenmacher-Feyel. On Sunday Ricky was placed 2nd in Group. Judges today was Ivana Bakal (breed) and Reino Korpela (group).

There are no words to describe how proud I am of my boy! Besides all the amazing wins he is currently leading the Top Show Dog competition (all breeds) with 203 points!!

Crufts 2014

I have been previously at Crufts but without own dog, so this year I decided to travel to Crufts with Ricky. We hade so much fun during our 4 days stay! Ricky showed him self to perfection and was placed 3rd in open class out of 15 males. Judge Mr. M. Ellrich, UK. Under you can see some pics and one video from the ring.

He strikes again! BIS-3 at Jyväskylä international dogshow!!

At Jyväskylä INT dogshow Ricky was Best of Breed and Group Winner on Saturday. Breed judge was Mr. Gavin Robertson (Soletrader PBGV) and group judge Ms. Marja Talvitie. On Sunday Ricky was placed Best In Show -3 in an extremely tough final under judge Johan Juslin! 4300 dogs were entered to this show.

In addition we also spent a nice and information rich evening with Eukanuba. We are very happy & proud to have Eukanuba in our everyday life.

He came he saw he conquered! One weekend three different Winner shows - Ricky BEST IN SHOW, BIS-2 and BIS-3!!

Ricky did something I never thought could be possible winning Best In Show, BIS-2 and BIS-3 at the biggest dog event the Finnish Kennel club has ever organized during their 125 years!! Over 23 000 dogs were entered for the whole weekend. 

Friday, which was the Helsinki Winner show, started with a Best of Breed win under the Australian judge Noreen Harris. This means that Ricky also got the Helsinki Winner 2013 title! Later the group win was achieved under Jose Homem de Mello from Portugal and Best in Show 2 under the Finnish judge Rainer Vuorinen!! This day 6600 dogs were entered to the show.

The next day it was time for the Nordic Winner show, where petit bassets were judged by Gerardo Paolucci from Argentina. He made Ricky Best of Breed and also Nordic Winner 2013. The group was today judged by the Finnish judge Harry Tast who gave Ricky one more group win. Best In Show was judged by the Spanish judge Carlos Fernandez Renau. No words can express the feeling I had when I heard that the Nordic Winner 2013 Best in Show was announced to be the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen!! Thank you Carlos Fernandez Renau for this huge win! The Nordic Winner was the biggest show of all the three Winner shows and approximately 8600 dogs were entered.

Last day the Finnish Winner was organized and Jose Homem de Mello judged the petit bassets. Ricky won Best of Breed and achieved his third winner title Finnish Winner 2013. The group judge Tino Pehar from Croatia placed Ricky as the winner and later Finnish judge Soile Bister placed Ricky Best in Show - 3!!!

I am totally speechless after this weekend, I really have no words to describe my feelings.
