He came he saw he conquered! One weekend three different Winner shows - Ricky BEST IN SHOW, BIS-2 and BIS-3!!

Ricky did something I never thought could be possible winning Best In Show, BIS-2 and BIS-3 at the biggest dog event the Finnish Kennel club has ever organized during their 125 years!! Over 23 000 dogs were entered for the whole weekend. 

Friday, which was the Helsinki Winner show, started with a Best of Breed win under the Australian judge Noreen Harris. This means that Ricky also got the Helsinki Winner 2013 title! Later the group win was achieved under Jose Homem de Mello from Portugal and Best in Show 2 under the Finnish judge Rainer Vuorinen!! This day 6600 dogs were entered to the show.

The next day it was time for the Nordic Winner show, where petit bassets were judged by Gerardo Paolucci from Argentina. He made Ricky Best of Breed and also Nordic Winner 2013. The group was today judged by the Finnish judge Harry Tast who gave Ricky one more group win. Best In Show was judged by the Spanish judge Carlos Fernandez Renau. No words can express the feeling I had when I heard that the Nordic Winner 2013 Best in Show was announced to be the Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen!! Thank you Carlos Fernandez Renau for this huge win! The Nordic Winner was the biggest show of all the three Winner shows and approximately 8600 dogs were entered.

Last day the Finnish Winner was organized and Jose Homem de Mello judged the petit bassets. Ricky won Best of Breed and achieved his third winner title Finnish Winner 2013. The group judge Tino Pehar from Croatia placed Ricky as the winner and later Finnish judge Soile Bister placed Ricky Best in Show - 3!!!

I am totally speechless after this weekend, I really have no words to describe my feelings.

27.10. Lahti international dogshow

What a day at Lahti international dogshow! The morning started with PBGVs where Ricky was Best Of Breed and his sister Nightdream Jennifer Lopez won Best Bitch and got her last CACIB for International Champion title (C.I.E.)!!

Next the Grand Basset Griffon Vendeens were in the ring and I again showed Oona the Grand (Minskuhoffs Grand Olivienne). She won Best Of Breed!

Later on the afternoon Ricky showed himself to Group Winner and finally BEST IN SHOW -4!! Thank you breed and group judge Laura Cox and BIS judge Irina Poletaeva!

I am also proud to tell you that Ricky is #7 All Breeds Dog Of The Year 2013 in Finland!

19.10.2013 Seinäjoki International Dog Show

We got some excellent results at the Seinäjoki dog show, both in petits and grands! The judge for both breeds and the group was Mr. Jari Fors.

Ricky started the day by winning Best of Breed and later Best in Group!

Oona, the grand (Minskuhoff's Grand Olivienne), won Best of Breed and Group 3rd!

At Mäntyharju all breeds show 31.8.2013 Ricky took almost the Jackpot and was BIS-2! Breed and BIS judge was Mr. Harry Tast and the group was taken by Mrs Kirsi Nieminen! 

Harry Tast wrote some very nice words of my 2 year boy, here is a free translation of it to english:

"Handsome, balanced and correctly built male, strong masculine head, correct front, spacious compact body, strong back, powerful movement, happy and very impressive appearance, excellent coat quality."

New Estonian Winner and Estonian Champion!

1st of June I took a one day trip with Ricky and his sister Pörrö (Nightdream Jennifer Lopez) to the Estonian Winner show. Breed and Group judge was Mr. Johan Becerra from Puerto-Rico.

We spend a day in muddy and rainy Jämsä. Ricky did excellent again, winning Best of Breed and Group 2nd! Breed and Group judge Tuula Savolainen, Finland.

Best in Show 4 at Hamina INT!

What an amazing weekend in Hamina international dog show! On Saturday Ricky won Best of Breed and was later Group 1st! Sunday in the Best In Show he was placed 4th!  Breed and group judge was Mr. Gunnar Nymann, DK (Chouan kennel) and Best in Show was judged by Ricky Lochs-Romans, NL. Over 2000 dogs were entered to this show.

Ricky new C.I.B* and C.I.E*

Last weekend Ricky got his last cacib that was needed to his international title. Thanks to the hunting result in Sweden he is now C.I.B* and C.I.E*! This was his first possible show to receive this last "time" cacib! We are so proud of this boy and thankful to Therese and Staffan for having Ricky in Sweden for hunting results!

We had a "second day" today, both Ricky and his sister "Pörrö" Nightdrem Jennifer Lopez was BM-2 and BB-2 both with res cacibs.

Ricky the Hunter!!

After the Swedish Winner show Ricky staid in Sweden and was 17 December set free in the forrest for the first time. 7th January I got some excellent news from Sweden. Superman Ricky had his first hunt test (hunting deer) and it was suggested as 1st price! A week later the result was confirmed and he got 1st price with 43 points!! Not an easy task for a beginner! He was set free in the forrest eight times (including thes hunt test).
I am very happy and proud of Ricky and so thankful to Therese & Staffan, kennel Ebouriffe (http://ebouriffe.se/), for this opportunity!!
